There was never one single moment that led to SELFE.
It came from years of working within the Australian fashion industry and constantly feeling drawn to the idea of creating a wardrobe that felt simpler, more intentional and more refined. After working alongside brands such as Bassike and Lee Mathews, I found myself increasingly inspired by timeless dressing and the way thoughtful clothing can shape how women feel in their everyday lives.
I was always searching for pieces that felt elevated, but still effortless. Pieces that could move with you through everyday life — from work, to motherhood, to dinner, to the moments in between. Clothing that made you feel confident without feeling overdone.
But more often than not, I felt like there was a disconnect.
Everything was either trend-driven and temporary, or overly minimal without emotion. I wanted to create something that sat in between — timeless wardrobe foundations with feeling behind them.
That’s where SELFE began.
Every piece is designed with versatility and longevity in mind. I think deeply about how each silhouette will live within a woman’s wardrobe — how it layers, how it moves, how often she’ll reach for it, and how it makes her feel when she puts it on.
Pieces like The Celeste Tee, The Adeline Pant and more recently The Amalia Knit all reflect that philosophy. Styles designed to be worn on repeat — effortless enough for everyday wear, but elevated enough to make you feel put together.
As SELFE has grown, it has also grown alongside me personally.
As a mother and founder, my relationship with clothing has changed. I value ease more than ever, but I still want to feel polished, confident and like myself. That balance has become such an important part of the brand and the way I design.
SELFE was never created to be about having more.
It was created to help women build wardrobes with purpose — pieces they can return to again and again, season after season.
